Now that 2015 is coming to a close, our team has been talking about all the exciting things that have happened at SiteWit this past year. We have worked very hard to improve existing products and release new ones that help each one of our users get one step closer to their goal.
Here are some of the things that happened this year:
Our team grew
This year has been a year of growth, and our team has added some very valuable members. Stacey (Financial Controller), Bill (Support Developer), Mikayla (UI/UX Developer), Ngoc (Software Developer) and Gabriela (Marketing Coordinator) joined the team over the course of the year to work on projects and opportunities that would contribute to the company’s growth. It has been great having them on board!
Released an E-Commerce Product
One of the biggest projects this year involved bringing online merchants a product that would help them advertise their products and store on Google in just a few easy steps. Online merchants select what products and categories to advertise, and SiteWit builds smart ads that will help them get found by people already searching for them. SiteWit constantly optimizes their campaign to ensure they get the best results for their money. SiteWit’s e-commerce product was released on the Ecwid platform, and it has been a great experience so far.
Launched Give Coupons – Sell More for Wix
SiteWit’s Give Coupons – Sell More app was released on the Wix App Market to give business owners the ability to offer their website visitors unique coupons using on exit and timed popup offers. Website visitors are also able to contact the business owner, find the business location, and call them from the popup modal on the website. This helps business owners generate leads right from their website. Business owners can then contact visitors, schedule follow-ups, and keep track of progress using our Mobile CRM app to turn visitors into customers.
Launched a Weebly App
Our SEM product has seen some great progress over the past year, and the team has worked very hard to launch an app on the Weebly App Center that would give Weebly users the opportunity to market their business on Google, Bing, and Yahoo seamlessly. In just a few easy steps, Weebly users are able to build their campaign, purchase it, and manage it. SiteWit optimizes the campaign on a daily basis to ensure the business owner gets the best results for their money.
Released the SiteWit Mobile App
The SiteWit mobile app was released a few weeks back for iOS and Android. SiteWit users are able to keep track of their campaign right from their smartphone while they’re on the go. They can check their campaign performance, view their best performing keywords, and monitor their spend in just a few minutes.
This year has been a year of growth, and 2016 is going to be even better! Our goal is to ensure small business owners reach their goal, and we will keep working hard until we get them there.
We wanted to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of our users for letting us be part of their journey. SiteWit would not be where it is today without your business.

Great job, team!
We are always looking for more ways to help our customers get new customers while you focus on growing your business. SiteWit will be releasing a new tool very soon that will help you build your online presence, retarget your current website visitors, and find new visitors!
Our new display campaigns will help you advertise like a big business and reconnect with your clients on top quality websites, such as Facebook, CNN, New York Times, and many more! Showing your banner ads in these major websites will maximize your branding, boost your marketing efforts, and increase your sales!
How does it work?
A visitor will come to your website through your SEO, SEM, and other online marketing efforts. When they are browsing on Facebook, CNN, and other major websites, your banner ad will show up to increase brand awareness and bring visitors back to your site. SiteWit will also analyze your current customers and website visitors and find new, potential visitors with similar characteristics who are more likely to convert. We show them your banner ad, they visit your website, and you get new customers!
Our visual wizard will help you set up your campaign in just a few steps, and we will automatically build appealing banner ads that you are able to customize. Once you finalize your ads and purchase the campaign, your ads will be live! We will optimize your campaign and get you high quality visitors for your marketing dollars.
We will keep you updated on its progress and on how you can get started once it’s released (Psst…it’s very soon!)

SiteWit enhances its user-interface to debut the new year!
A seamless navigation focused on you, our customer.
Accordingly, changes we make are always “intuitive”, reflecting the weight we put on customizing our interface according to the input we receive from our customers.
Increased functionality of keywords and ads:
Care to see what the search results on Google are if you enter a keyword? Select keywords related to your core business activity. Assign a rating to each keyword. Then, watch our interface instantly display Google search results for each of the keywords you submitted as related to your industry.
As you create your headline, text and a call to action, a simulation of your ad appears exactly as it would display on the search engine results page. Don’t like what you see? Revise your ad until its visual display appeals to you!
Steering your Campaign in the Right Direction: Managing Keyword Performance:
- Pausing keywords: As you may already know, indicators of each keyword’s performance are accessible via the “Home” tab. These indicators enable you to decide whether you should keep a keyword in your campaign or not. Do you see low-performing keywords (performance of keywords is color-coded)? Head over to the “Campaign” tab where you will edit your keyword list. Select the drop-down list and click on “paused keywords”. Select keywords you wish to pause, the green button (enabled keywords) will now turn to yellow. Remember to “Save”! Great, now the lion’s share of your budget is directed to keywords generating traffic to your site.
- Negative keywords: These put an end to wasteful spending and worthless display of your ads. They prevent irrelevant clicks from eating up your budget. As an example, if you do not offer anything free of charge, then the word “free” should be entered as a negative keyword. This feature is also accessible from the campaign tab. Give us a shout if you would like us to guide you on setting your negative keywords, as this contributes to an efficient management of your budget.
We hope you agree that these changes will empower you to steer your campaign in the chosen direction. To ensure that you reap the most benefits of these improvements, do not hesitate to reach out to us:firstname.lastname@example.org We are just an email away.
As the holiday season is upon us, we find ourselves reflecting on the past year and those who have helped to shape our business. It’s been quite a year for us all! We hope that 2014 has been just as memorable for you, your colleagues and your loved ones. We look forward to working with you in the years to come.

“I manage our site, our social media, our online merchandising, our photography, our blog, our videography, our IT and our licensing management. So I don’t have time to babysit several Pay Per Click advertising campaigns. That’s where SiteWit comes in and I’m very thankful for them”. Matthew Books, Marketing Director

We’re very excited about being an exhibitor at the 2014 cPanel Conference starting on Tuesday 9/30 in Houston at the Westin Galleria.
As part of our business development initatives, we want to partner with hosting companies to offer hosting providers and website owners alike an easy and effective way to market their websites online. We have some incredible partnerships in place with website builders so now it’s time to tap into the hosting companies. This will be our first time at the cPanel conference and we can’t wait to talk marketing, showcase SiteWit and make new friends.
cPanel is a web hosting management company with one of the best reputations in the business. They offer a variety of services, from hosting to developer resources. We’re thrilled to be part of their integrated services having recently launched our SiteWit cPanel plugin. As the hosts of the conference, I know we can expect to see nothing but great things, from the other exhibitors to the keynote speakers. There’s going to be some great networking events each day after the main show is over so look out for the guys with the SiteWit shirts making the rounds.
If you’re attending the show, make sure to stop at the SiteWit booth and say “Hi.”
We just got a new display so you can’t miss us. Just look for the SiteWit bubble! We’ll be providing demos and talking about how SiteWit can improve any web hoster’s customer retention by adding easy and affordable paid search to their product line.
See you in Houston!
